When Project Airbus released their A319 model, they continued their legacy of producing a highly detailed model of the prime 737 competitor from across the pond. While some have complained that the lack of virtual cockpit hinders its FSX experience, I continue to see their models as impressive every-time I load one in FS9 and FSX.
When I saw the US Airways, America West livery by Steve McBee, I began drooling immediately. This transition livery is a combination of the old the America West NC livery with US Airways titles. I couldn’t wait to take it on a short flight from Denver International (KDEN) to Sky Harbor (KPHX) to gawk at the new work of art by Steve that adorns the PA A319 model.
- Turning to course after leaving runway 25, KDEN.
- Descending into the greater Phoenix area for runway 8.
- Landing, runway 8 at Sky Harbor.
Parked at gate B29, awaiting departure for its next destination.
